European Integration Minister Gifted Hoxha has not indicated what could happen to the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo, if the ratification of Demarketing with Montenegro, as the main condition of the EU for abolishing the visa regime, does not end in the first months of 2018.
She also did not mention whether there are any deadlines for ratification of this agreement for Kosovars to be stripped of visas over the next year.
But, Hoxha in an interview for the news.net has said that the sooner this agreement is ratified, the better the visa liberalisation.
The director of the government dictatorship, who heads European integration processes, has also spoken of the upcoming European Commission report, to be released in April 2018.
She has said she expects the report to assess the progress made by the findings of the latest report, including the fair and democratic election body of June 11th.
Hoxha has also talked about implementing the criteria stemming from the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, where she has acknowledged that there has been a impasse in this respect so far, but that, according to her, after the new government's formation, things have changed in this respect.
