The state prosecutor has long launched investigations into veterans' lists under suspicion of insulting lists of 42 thousand veterans leaving the war in Kosovo.
After a meeting Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had veterans, he told them that he has given the prosecutor a month to investigate veterans' lists.
Although this was described as political interference in the judiciary, the prosecution did not seem to take it seriously either.
Tomorrow is a month from the prime minister's warning, but the prosecution has not been declared in connection with the investigation, despite the attempt of Indexonline to get information on the matter.
Indexline contacted the prosecutor's office, but the latter have not responded.
KLA War Veterans Organisation Chairman Hysni Gucati has said they have not had any contact with the prosecution for a month, adding to welcome any investigation.
It's been a month since we have contact with the prosecution. We don't know where it's stuck, I don't know where things went, I know they started through parts if they weren't wrong, but they never came. We welcome them, the job is welcome for us, except Ishall is done as fast as”.
And a month ago, in a response to the prosecution, it has been said that information and evidence provided so far, and other evidence expected to gather in the future can change someone's status, so that the number of persons can change.
