Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said that Kosovo has not yet accepted any documents to withdraw Suriname recognition, while acknowledging that there is a difficulty in the previously created relationship with this South American state.
Haradinaj has said Kosovo's independence is irreversible.
“Surinami, we are interested in developing good relations with any country, big or small. We are interested in overcoming any difficulties for these relations, because there may be difficulties sometimes, and there are nations that are members of the UN for relations with each other, which made Kosovo no exception. What impressed me yesterday was US Ambassador Greg Delaway's statement, which said: “Independence is irreversible and I invite states to know Kosovo”, so we stand in this direction, I don't comment, it's the opinion of another state. Serbia, I do not comment on it. Once you get into these explanations I don't see fit, what we know, there's a difficulty in the previously created relationship. However, its epilogue will be timed, even formal, but Kosovo has yet to accept any document”, Haradinaj said.
Prime Minister Haradinaj, after meeting with MMPH Minister Albena Resitaj, said this minister has in its responsibility the drafting of separate reservative legislation for the environment, waters, spatial planning, construction and residence to the expropriations, and above all, according to him, efficient management.
Haradinaj has also asked Minister Resiti to implement the European agenda known as ERA.
While, Minister Resiti said that with Prime Minister Haradinaj, they have agreed that environmental protection will be the government's priority in handling all issues related to the ministry.
“We agreed that the environment and its protection will be one of the important priorities of this government, given the management of waste, the treatment of rivers and their rehabilitation, the treatment of the waters in particular emphasis, the treatment of sewage, the raising of air quality, the creation of green spaces, spatial planning, and all of this by respecting the full implementation of the legal framework related to this minister”, Minister Resitaj said.
