“O may Haradinaj be arrested, or Kurti”

The deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj Buyupi have been arrested tonight by Kosovo police.

This, as according to Judge Beqari Kaluldra, they have violated the security measure set by the tribunal when they were released from custody for house arrest three days ago.

In this regard, political analyst Faton Mehmeti in a pronomination to the newspaper “Bota today” says that despite their failure to hold house arrest, Kurti and Cadaj Buyupi did not have to be arrested because selective justice is being done.

Justice on us is developed on the basis of the interests of the ruling parties, of power. Arresting someone and someone who did the same work is selective. Hence, this produces discontent and is challenged. Although Albin and Donika didn't hold house arrest, I believe the court shouldn't have arrested them, much longer on festive days. This proves that the court is angry, led by actions developed by politics and as such does not produce justice”, he has indicated.

According to Mehmet, until Albin Kurti and Ramush Haradinaj were together in the same cause, Kurti has been betrayed by Haradinaj and that Haradinaj should either be arrested or Kurti is released.

The fact that Ramush and Albin have done the same, is that Albin has been betrayed by Ramush. While one received power, the other prison and this anthagnosis includes the known fable that the righteous suffer most. I don't want to protect or attack anyone, but I think this reality produced by this bad policy is causing great damage to the country. Either Ramush will have to be arrested or Albin is released, or this process will get even more political character”, Faton Mehmeti has declared for “Bota today”
