Known as the “Bosnia's Kasap”, Mladic is charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, until the verdict is expected to be a life sentence.
Mladic is held responsible for the execution of 8 thousand Muslim men in July 1995, known as the largest atrocities committed in Europe after the Holocaust.
The decision on Mladic will be the last trial by the tribunal that was established in The Hague in 1993 for condemning crimes committed in Balkan wars in the 1990s. Among other things, Mladic is accused of murder, torture, rape, extermination and bombing. Mladic has dismissed all charges against him.
