Fatmir Limaj, former minister in the Ministry of Transport and Post-Telekom (MTPT) -- at the same time deputy prime minister -- has warned, through his lawyer -- that he will propose new evidence before the tribunal in the “case. MTPT”
At the moment, as <x0 planire=x1>, Limaj and the other accused have given up the witness proposal, paving the way for the presentation of evidence, which is the latest procedure before the presentation of the final word.
The new evidence, but also the evidence that is already on paper, is expected to be presented on November 15th, while the final word will be given in November 21st and 22nd.
The final verdict of this judicial process is scheduled to be announced on November 24th.
Former Minister Limaj, along with his adviser, Andrew Shala, former chief of procurement at MTP, Nexhat Krasniqi, and his driver, the Telaku Rescue, are facing justice for organised crime, misuse of official duty and bribery.
