Republika Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has written the Kosovo Government's decision to privatise agricultural lands is good news for Kosovo.

According to him, with this decision there are necessary conditions for foreign and local investors, as it is envisioned with the Strategic Investment Law to invest in Kosovo.

There are also opportunities for new jobs that will increase the country's budget.

Privatisation of agricultural land privatisation, good news for Kosovo

Days ago on a visit to the Kosovo Economic Oda, I have stated that suspending the privatisation of agricultural lands is a necessary step, as in this form alone, we will have opportunity to invite foreign and local investors to invest in Kosovo.

With today's decision by the Government of Kosovo to suspend the privatisation of agricultural lands, the necessary conditions are created for foreign and local investors, as envisioned in the Strategic Investment Law to invest in Kosovo, investments which open new jobs and boost the country's budget.
