The Interior Ministry has acknowledged that the operation has occurred but has ensured that the security system at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” and the Air Navigation Service Agency is within pre-standard standards.
The Ministry of Infrastructure has said that despite the fact that the airport is not in their competencies, Minister Paul Lekaj will invite the director of Pristina Airport to a clear meeting.
Pristina International Airport has declined to comment on the case. spokeswoman Valentina Gara said that next week they are expected to come up with an official report on the issue. Officials of the Air Navigation Services Agency have also remained silent.
