Delawi: Traffickers in Kosovo receive light sentences

There is no shelter for trafficking victims in northern municipalities at all where they will restore their lives”.
“The fight against trafficking cannot be accomplished much when there is corruption and crime” within the legal system, Delawi said.
For the documentary done between Klan Kosovo and the American Embassy, Delawi has said he was proud of what he saw and the opportunity to present this premiere.
“Trafficking is a difficult problem to address not only in Kosovo but worldwide. This documentary showed how the U.S. government fights against these crimes and early detection of them”, Delawi said.
“As if we saw trafficking with human beings is a problem in the United States, and the work of police, prosecutors and civil society is needed to fight”.
Delawie has said he noticed that trafficking in America affects wealthier and not poorer areas.
I am so glad that in Kosovo all are working to achieve progress”.
“Judges, prosecutors, police and others through programmes by the US Justice Department are already more aware of the challenges in trafficking cases and how to deal with them”, he has said among other things.
