The bodies of three men discovered on Saturday, aged 28, 58 and 35, were identified by their relatives. We are still continuing the search for at least three persons resulting missing”, Nikos Papaefstatiou, director of the service of the national operational health centre, told the media.
Two of the three victims were found by portal police in Eleusis Bay, in the vicinity of Mandra, one of three municipalities, affected by these successive floods and torrential rains.
In Mandra also, rescue teams discovered a person's body in the mud. Discouragement and frustration have taken their place among the people of Mandra and Nea Peramos, where at least 2,500 homes and shops have been completely destroyed.
