Croatia celebrates day of Albanians struggling for its defence

In the 1991 war Croatia was protected by 2579 Albanian volunteers, of whom 86 have crashed heroicly, 37 are missing and over 500 injured. Today about 300 disabled Albanians of war realise their rights in Croatia, writes the FM Images. And today the first time the day [...] has been celebrated.

Today, however, Croatia's Day of Albanian Veterans has been celebrated for the first time.
Of the 86 Albanians killed nine were killed in Bogdanovci alone, and that is why this country was chosen as the centre for each year where we remember those who gave their lives for free Croatia”, Albanian-Croatian War Association President Tom Sokinari has said.
