Today, 19 Kosovo municipalities are being voted for mayors in the second round.

Citizens hope there will be changes in this second round as well as praise the election process.

Kosovoress has polled some of the citizens in Pristina who express different opinions about the elections, but also about the result.

Izet Zhuja says he is satisfied with the prosperity of voting so far. He said there have been many irregularities in the voting processes before, and that he has not noticed anyone now.

Jou says this is because there are even foreign observers monitoring.

I've come up in all the current voting, voting every year is getting better, because as we know at first, we've had a lot of trouble stealing, with cheating, with all sorts of bad things, now you're coming up. I have voted, voting has gone right to any problem, it hasn't been noted at the point where I am, but according to talk to people at other centres it's okay, so voting is very good. It seems to me that voting is probably the smallest number of voters, or maybe it's even more noticed by foreigners, because we can only make problems ourselves, but when we're having this external supervision, it's a little harder to decide how to do it, so everything is improving”, Jou said.

Vetevendosje MP Rexhep Selimi was also on the way to voting.

He had a message for the citizens of the country.

The second <x0ndinRund has already clearly defined the winner in Pristina and the role of citizens. As if we did our civic duty today under the electoral silence, I am being restricted now, but as if what should be happening today would have to citizens decide with their vote because their vote is very important, it matters to them, it matters to their families, it matters to the city, it matters to Kosovo and to their coming. So all we have to do in the role of citizens is vote and not abstain from our right to decide”, Selimi said.

Professor Hysni Zuka has invited citizens to go to the polls to support the capital's most profitable programmes, as he said there have been great promises from the upstate government and nothing has been done but some links.

Each of us has his own opinion, but we need to rely on the work that is done, the program they have, and the vote is given based on those merits, and not only the technology but we have to evaluate the work correctly, evaluate the program that has been provided. Of course, promises are huge, maybe a piece comes true, so I expect. Apparently they didn't have a great deal of work, promises didn't come true, those promises that they've been, for example, I don't know a big project that's been accomplished, some small jobs that don't carry too much weight or bus talk. The bus has been discovered for 100 years, it is not the age-old discovery to have done a subway or something, but it happens to be waiting for more” to be worked out, Zuka” said.

Even Pristina citizen Drita Gashi said she has fulfilled her duty as a citizen of the Pristina municipality and says she has been satisfied so far, but according to her always a place for the better.

“I carried out my obligation as any other citizen of the Pristina municipality and throughout Kosovo. I expect the people to win, I expect them to win the best and get even better than they were. I am pleased, but always discontent is on the rise of development, I expect even better”, Gashi said.

Even Bajram Ahmeti says he will go out to vote and that he expects major changes, especially in the capital.

“I'm a citizen from Pristina as we all know it's election day we expect to mean going out with a vote. I haven't voted yet, but I hope I'll get out later. Waiting does not mean that we will wait for how long we expect, but especially in Pristina, we expect major changes. It's not that I haven't been satisfied, but we hope for even better”, Ahmeti says.

While his native, Pristina citizen Bajram Gashi, says he has exploited his right and that there is hope that the people will show by his best vote.

“I voted and fulfilled my vow, we hope it will be well. We hope there hasn't been. I haven't been satisfied with the current governance. It's not true what he said I did that, I did this. He has no longer done these can be said that he has not made 10 kilometers of asphalt throughout the Pristina municipality. The square and they have been arranged, what has worked, but the rock gets well the people's vote shows”, Gashi said.

And for Besim Rexhain the changes if they happen will contribute to the quality of citizens' lives.

“I want to hope that after these elections we will have changes that will contribute to quality of the life of the citizen”, Rexaj said.

Otherwise, there are a few hours remaining until the deployment in 19 municipalities. /Kosovo pres/
