The US Diplomatic Mission in Somalia called on American citizens to leave this country due to the <x1-> achievement of threats against Americans at the International Airport at Mogadishu”, the Anadolu Agency (AA) broadcast.
In a statement by the US Diplomatic Mission to Somalia via the social Twitter network, it is said that the reason for the call to leave Somalia is due to the <x0-> the rise of threats against Americans at the International Airport at Mogadishu” and “security instability in this country”.
In a written statement, the U.S. State Department recommends all US citizens who have decided to stay in Somalia to “review the security situation and take all necessary measures to increase personal security”.
The statement also states that Washington does not have embassys in Somalia and that citizens there can contact the embassy in Nairobi.
