By the end of October, about 2130 asylum applications were counted.
According to a report released yesterday by the Austrian Interior Ministry, the number of asylum applications compared to 2016 has suffered a decline of about 43 percent.
While, the number of repatriations during the same period of time has been on the rise.
Their numbers have increased by about 13.4 percent.
During the months of January, October 4th, Austria has fled about 977 asylum seekers 3 841 of whom have been expelled from the country, Pash explains.
According to the Interior Ministry, the number of deportations has increased by 50 percent, while the number of people who have voluntarily returned has decreased to 16 percent.
