Within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, the MP women's Group, in co-operation with the KRC and the Centre for Promoting Women's Rights, has conducted operational activities of awareness and promotion of actions to end violence against women and girls.
Kosovo Parliament MP Blerta Deliu-Codra has said unfortunately violence against women is a growing phenomenon and relevant institutions should be respected in force for preventing this phenomenon.
Feride Rushiti executive director of the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors has said that frequent cases of violence against women have ended several times with fatality, and for that it seeks to take measures to prevent this phenomenon.
Even state-of-the-art MP freedom has said the Assembly with relevant recommendations should take measures against women's violence. She also urged that women not be mistreated because they are part of Kosovo society.
