The German newspaper Bild, has reported that two people pending deportation had fled from immigration officials on the track, while it was reported that one was arrested and the other is on the run, Klan Kosova reports.
The airport reopened, but with big delays as flights moved to Bremen and Hanov.
An Irish passenger wrote a message that he had been stuck in a Flybe plane for about an hour, waiting for him to depart.
Other travelers reported that free drinks were distributed on their planes while eagerly waiting.
Hamburg Airport is the fifth largest, with more than 16 million passengers traveling through it each year.
