Albania with the largest number of people in search of Interpol

Albania keeps the largest number of people in search throughout the Balkans. According to Interpol data (The International Crime Police Organization), where there are 192 world states, it proves that Albanian police have declared 160 people in international research, writes Koha Ditore. Among the people declared at large is the former drug officer [...]
Among the people declared in the search is former Albanian Police Antidrogue Officer Dritan Zagani. He has become known after denouncing Saimir Tahiri, then Albanian Interior Minister, as linked to the Habilaj brothers from Vlora, arrested in Catania, Italy for drug trafficking.
Former officer Dritan Zagani was arrested in Albania on May 3rd 2014 on charges of using “task”, as he was suspected of deconspirating antidrug operations.
But the Appeals Court in Vlora has eased Dritan Zagan's arrest measure by providing “to house arrest”. Taking advantage of this measure of arrest, Zagan has fled to Switzerland, where he has also won political asylum, yet has not been removed from Interpol lists.
