Air tragedy where the CIA and the American president were suspected: Flight Mystery 533 (Video)

The night of December 8, 1972, was quiet but cold when a fallen Boeing 737 plane came out of the wood. He even destroyed houses in West Lone before ending up in Veronica Kusulitch's house, leaving her and her [...]

As a result of the collapse of the butterfly that was broken up, 43 of the 61 passengers inside lost their lives. Among the victims was Dorothy Hunt, wife of Howard Hunt, former CIA agent who worked for then-US President Richard Nixon.

Five months before the accident, Agent Howard had arranged everything to be bugged by the Democratic Party's offices, which later came to the relative known as Watergate. Meanwhile, at the time of the accident, he was arrested for conspiracy.

Richard Nixon

According to some claims, there were 11 people on the plane who were related to the Watergate. In addition, perhaps because of the $10,000 found in Dorothy Hunt's briefcase, the government was originally thought to have sabotaged the plane's crash.

Although it had fallen over two inches [2 cm] of snow, the weather was good enough and there was no reason for weather conditions to cause the plane to crash. The pilot was experienced, having made over 18,000 hours of flying, and the plane had crashed just two miles from the runway from which it was airborne.

FBI members had appeared at the scene earlier than expected, and for several hours had blocked access to the remains of the aircraft. Therefore, opinion began to ask what they actually did there.

One of the people who had spoken openly that the government was involved in the plane crash was Sherman Schelnik, an investigator from Chicago. He witnessed before the Air Traffic Security Committee in 1973, saying the FBI had plotted United Airlines's plane. Of course, the board had rejected this conspiracy theory.

Dorothy Hunt

Scholnik believed that Dorothy Hunt had with him documents that improvised Nixon, and that the president himself was behind it. Meanwhile, the $10,000 in her briefcase was “money to silence” all those aware of Nixon's suspicious activities.

However, the official report said that it was the pilot's mistake considered the main cause of the accident.

Private detective Charles Colson was convinced that Dorothy Hunt was killed to prevent the story of how the CIA had tapped members of Congress. But even though Scholnik and Colson were respected detectives, in this case the opinion did not trust them.

The case of the United Airlines aviokomone, “553<18x1>, will remain one of the mysteries that have concerned those given to conspiracy theories. /Telegraphy/
