So show the data of the Kosovo Statistics Agency, AK.
“Ration can be explained by the fact that vegetable and ground plant cultivation has marked growth”, the ASS points out.
Even livestock has seen an increase of 8.4 percent in 2016 compared with 2015.
The increase, according to the Statistics Agency, can be explained by increasing the value of livestock. Therefore, total plant and livestock crops have increased by 13.5 percent in 2016, compared to 2015<18x1>, says the ASS's economic agricultural accounts for 2016.
Intermediate consumption, however, has seen an increase of 7.4 percent in 2016 compared with the preceding year.
The KSF publication includes data on plant products, livestock products and farm spending, in monetary terms.
Atmospheric changes in the country also caused agricultural damage last year.
Kosovo's government had approved the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development ( MBPZR) to pay 260 thousand euros in compensation for damages caused by natural phenomena or 25 percent of estimated damages.
