In 2016, plant crops have seen an increase of 17.5 percent compared with 2015. According to data from the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK), growth has occurred because vegetable and ground plant cultivation has marked growth.
Also, according to these records, livestock products have seen an increase of 8.4 percent in 2016, compared with 2015. Growth can be explained by increasing the value of livestock.
Therefore, total plant and livestock products have increased by 13.5% in 2016, compared to 2015. While overall consumption has seen an increase of 7.4% in 2016, compared to 2015”, the ASS report says.
