The LDK has proposed Vjosa Osmani to lead the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspores and Strategic Investments.
In most parts of the world, this commission is considered more important.
During the past two mandates, this commission was led by the PDK, while on its own, this Commission has been elected by the LDK and is the first time it will be led by a woman.
Vjosa Osmani has covered the foreign policy field since its first commitments in politics, initially as the president's adviser for foreign policy and then the leader of the LDK's foreign policy processing group and European integration.
In the past, it has also served as chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for European Integration. The choice of Vjosa Osmani at the helm of this Commission, of Lumir Abdixhik, at the head of the Commission for Boards and Finances and Driton Selmanaj at the helm of the Commission for Monitoring Public Finance, appears to be a sign of reflection by the LDK for the role of the new generation in key decision-making positions.
