”Veterians will receive pensions retroactively”

It has been nearly two months since war veterans have not received pensions, as a result of not revising the budget in the Kosovo Assembly. OVL-KLA Chairman Hysni Gucati has said he expects budget approval and wages to be made through this week. “
O Chairman The VL-KLA, Hysni Gucati, has said that they expect budget approval and wages to be made through this week.
“For early in parliament the budget is approved for salaries cannot be released, but salaries are divided for veterans by January. But, the budget review has not come to parliament for approval, and for that reason it has stalled that we can't get wages, but they are secured by January”, he said of Indexline.
Gucati has said they have the words of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Finance Minister Bedri Hamza that wages will come up very quickly.
The budget issue will be brought to parliament this week “We have the word of the prime minister and finance minister that wages will come up soon. The moment the budget is voted and the budget revision is made, then the salaries will come up, and will be released in two months, retroactively”, he stressed.
Gucati has said there are numerous complaints about delays, however, that they have managed to find a common language, given that the funds are split.
We have a lot of complaints, we have a lot of calls that have complained, saying it's not good that they're taking so long. However, with conversation we have managed to find common language, let them know that the funds are divided”, he added.
