“I personally consider that the run-off actually only allows political parties to bargain around the municipalities, and it is a vain addition to the cost of local elections, the loss of time, because it delays the official outcome for more than a month, and of course the whole state is paralyzed until the run-off is finished. It had been easier for me personally to organise and to be less costly to have just one round of local elections, so for the municipality and the one who wins the majority, to become chairman”, Daka told Top Channel.
According to Daka, the Electoral Reform should start immediately after the October 22nd elections, for which it underlines that all measures have been taken to be completely fair and preliminary results released by midnight
