Serbia's Trade Minister Rasim Ljajic said today that he does not know whether at the meeting of the presidents of Serbia and Turkey, Aleksandar Vucic and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kosovo has been discussed.
Turkey's “relations with Kosovo and Albania are not what it was several years ago. This situation changed dramatically from the coup effort in Turkey on 15 July last year”, Ljajic told Radio Vojvodina.
“On the other hand, in Albania and Kosovo there are successive structures of Fettullah Gulen (which Turkey accuses of organising the coup attempt). Some of the followers are in important positions in Kosovo and Albania. I don't know how accurate that is, I just broadcast what I hear, what Turks transfer me. And after many requests submitted to Tirana and Pristina, nothing has been undertaken. This has cooled relations”, Ljajic said.
