The LDK's goal in these two municipalities was to make it into a run-off after which, according to Abdixhik, the victory would be certain.
On the other hand, he said that in terms of Prizren's municipality, the intervention of Kosovo's president has been during the last days of the campaign.
Two points we haven't achieved were Prizren and Mitrovica. We knew the situation, we campaigned with all the capacities, where we intended to enter the runoff. In Prizren the intervention of the president of Kosovo in recent days has made victory in this municipality impossible. They turned against the block The LDK, and has received 10,000 votes from this party”, Lumir Abdixhiku said in an interview in the debate area in Klan Kosova.
As a whole as far as local elections are concerned, Abdixhiku said the LDK has had a phenomenal co-ordination of its headquarters, with the cases managed to eliminate differences in its branches.
