Thaci Public Letter to Special Court: You cannot escape responsibility for this shameful act

This organisation has reacted after Thaci's speech today during a debate on the Special Court. According to her, neither Thaci nor the parties that voted in this law can escape responsibility for this, as they call it shameful.

President Thaci, fulfill the law for special court, improve historical injustice

Mr. President of the Republic of Kosovo,

Your criticism of the international community for imposing special court is understandable, but neither you personally, nor your party, nor other parties that voted the constitutional changes, and the law for this court cannot evade responsibility you have in this shameful act, that you are publicly acknowledging is historic injustice.

But it's never too late to get better. The special court, which under current law will not deal with Serbia's crimes against Kosovo Albanian civilians, could undergo changes with your initiative.

This law can be improved by being fulfilled by the Kosovo Parliament, right at your initiative, according to the constitutional competencies you have.

Therefore, take advantage of this responsibility and ask the Kosovo Parliament that this law be met and allow Serbia and its criminals to be tried in this court.

Only in this way, you can improve the historic mistake the international community made in co-operation with you personally and with other Albanian parties that voted this law in the current selective form.

So replace such criticism against the international community with the fulfillment of this wicked law.

Do not allow the continuation of this historical injustice, but act and comply with the PDK, LDK, VV, AAK, Initiative, Akr and alternative unfair law.

This court is the best address to try Serbian criminals and Serbia.

You, Mr. President, the Kosovo political parties and the Kosovo Parliament are the ones who can improve this historic injustice by fulfilling this law.

Today's criticisms are not enough and they cannot house either you or political parties out of this injustice created by this law in this form of aggregation. All of you together are in your hands to improve this huge historical error.

Just a little will and a little courage for that to happen. So act and fulfill the law and do not emissate Serbia and its criminals for crimes against our most loved ones.
