Serbian List Says Full Support of Vuciqi

After meeting that Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, with Kosovo Serb politicians, said the issue of the unity of the Serb people is a matter of their survival in Kosovo. The chairman of the Republika Srpska List, Goran Rakiq, was also at the meeting, who said that the Republika Srpska List has the full support of Vuciqi.

“The issue of the unity of the Serbian people is a matter of its survival in Kosovo, and Metohija” Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said yesterday at a meeting with representatives of the Serbian people in Kosovo, and added that efforts to break this unity must be prevented, the newspaper Express follows.

President Vucic stressed the need to prevent efforts to break unity, which, according to him, comes from circles of those who want to weaken the capacity to realise the collective political rights of Serbs in Kosovo.

Even the chairman of Republika Srpska, Goran Rakic, was part of the meeting, where he said before the media that the Republika Srpska List received Vuciqi's full support for local elections in Kosovo, Tanjug says.

After meeting with Serbia's president, Rakiq said he was satisfied with the fact that the Serbian government and Serbia's president will have priority targets for improving conditions for the lives of Serbs on Kosovo territory.
