Serbia continues Milosevic's rule”

Serbia is continuing to prove active in preventing Kosovo on its integration path, though the final phase of dialogue in Brussels has been warned. Following anti-Kosovo lobby in U NESTO, then in INTERPOL, today the government of Serbia has warned that it will send a letter to 22 European Union states to reconsider recognition of Kosovo's independence.
These anti-Kosovo efforts coming from the leaders of the Serbian state are seen as the continuation of Milosevic's rule.
Mazlum Baraliu, a political expert, has said about “Indescsonline” that Serbia's attempt to undermine Kosovo shows no sincerity this state is showing in dialogue.
“I consider both a continuous continuation of Belgrade towards obstructing Kosovo in any way, never having a sincere intention in dialogue, both this proposal and the efforts in INTERPOL and the U NESTO, even in UN Security Council organisations, shows Serbia has not changed at all. It shows that the regime and governance there is the continuation of Milosevic's plans and Milosevic's mentality -- that is, the extenuator, chauvinist, anti-Kosovo and anti-Albanian in general -- indiscriminately” -- he has said.
Baraliu has declared that the European Union and member states must clearly see Serbia's actions and realise that this state has no friendly goals with Kosovo.
On the contrary, he said, the EU should understand how undemocratic the Serbian state is being shown.
The last “shows that the European Union, all its institutions and member states, those that have recognised and have not recognised Kosovo, should be heated once and realise that Serbia is not willing to be either in the structures of Europe or in NATO, and that it has unfriendly goals towards Kosovo. These also show their undemocratic, non-European, good-neighbourly and anti-Kosovo” goal, it has been expressed for “Indexline”
We remember that there have been numerous protests in Catalonia in recent days since this country has sought independence from Spain. This case, Serbia is considering the same as Kosovo. But, it was Brussels that had reacted and responded that Kosovo and Catalunia are quite opposite cases.
