It started shortly after 10:00 a.m., Saimir Tahir's immunity session. The first to take issue was the Socialist deputy himself, who spoke very briefly.

I welcome your every decision, whatever it is. My way to find justice doesn't stop here”, it was Saimir Tahir's only words.

With two reports in the country, the majority and opposition, there is no common point in the “Tahiri” case. At Wednesday's session, Socialist deputies will vote against the prosecution's request for the arrest of the former interior minister.

The majority will vote on both Saimir Tahiri's personal control and residence on Wednesday, as well as the ban on his leaving the country.

On 23 pages of the report, the Socialist Party has argued in detail why, according to her, the prosecution's two counts of narcotics trafficking and passive corruption are not based on evidence.

“Procurory did not bring any facts or indicators from the wiretapping of arrested persons or in the investigation, Saimir Tahiri could have communicated with the Socialist Party's report once again, said.

Mazhorca says the prosecution seeks to arrest Saimir Tahiri without committing investigative actions that need not authorise the Parliament and that even the secret evidence does not indicate his involvement. These arguments have led the Socialists to conclude that Saimir Tahir's arrest is political.

The lack of evidence, the haste of the prosecution's body to request authorisation for the arrest or removal of MP Saimir Tahiri's freedom, two days after recording criminal proceedings and his name in the criminal case register, creates the conviction that at this stage of investigation carried out by the Prosecution, the request has a political background of”.

But the opposition has a completely different perspective. In its 17-page report, signed by members of the Democratic Party and the OSCE, the opposition argues why the prosecution's evidence of the arrest of Saimir Tahiri is sufficient.

Her report says that “as long as Saimir Tahiri has been minister of interior, police have carried out no stumbling action or intelligence on Habillas criminal activity, even though the minister has been informed by the Secret Service”.

According to the opposition, Tahiri's name is not mentioned just once, but sometimes at a length of 3 years, during which the criminal group is associated with Saimir Tahiri through vehicle sold by him.

The investigative data shows that Saimir Tahiri used the vehicle after selling it. Clearly, this vehicle has served as a protection tool for the criminal group in conducting international narcotics trafficking. According to evidence, the car was bought for the purpose of facilitating drug and weapons trafficking, as it was on behalf of Interior Minister”.

The opposition considers Tahiri's defence as a blow to reform in justice and a step for European integration.

Her deputies voice concern that with Saimir Tahiri at large, the prime minister and interior minister, under whose supervision are the evidence, could harm them and silence witnesses.

The opposition report concludes with the statement that the “Assembly could never become the home of crime or its direct supporters. A sentence that, under current circumstances, appears to be a warning of an eventual opposition to the Parliament.

His abandonment began Monday with parliamentary commissions and was confirmed Tuesday, when the Democrats left the law commission due to the “Tahiri” case.
