Pristina bill adopted

The Kosovo government today adopted the Bill on Pristina, ending the several-year procrastination of this document.

At today's cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said the purpose of this bill is the regulation and functioning of the capital.

This bill has its legal basis in the country's Constitution. The Law on Local Self-Government also applies to the capital”, Haradinaj said.

While Finance Minister Bedri Hamza spoke of the budgetary cost of this law.

This bill will also have its own budgetary cost. We will also receive budgeting of the real budgetary costs, so that it is not a burden and will be distributed through budgetary years”, said Minister Hamza.
