Police ban 69 immigrants from Albania seeking charity in Ferizaj

Kosovo police, in this case the Directorate for Migration and Foreign, in 26.10.2017 in the early morning hours of Ferizaj, have implemented the operational plan” the identity of irregular migrants, ban and their return to the country of origin”. During this police action have been identified and banned: sixty-nine (69) citizens [...]

During this police action have been identified and detained: sixty-nine (69) citizens from the Republic of Albania, 55 of the adult and 14 children, accompanied by their family members, who were staying irregularly/legal in our country.

All of those identified and detained had legally entered Kosovo as tourists, and during their stay, they have carried out research-age activities in the town of Ferizaj. Likewise, to Kosovo citizens identified as their host, legal procedures, the pronunciation of fines under the Foreign Law have been initiated.

After completing cases based on the Law for Foreigners No. 04/L-219, all immigrants have been organized into the state of origin through the Border-Vermic Cross.

During their treatment, police officers from the Regional Unit against the Trafficking in the Human Being of Ferizaj have also participated, and the Social-Ferizaj Centre has been notified that they have treated all immigrants from their field of activity, but have not found elements of human trafficking.
