Michael Aldridge, 35, said he was 19 when he started talking to what he thought was a 13-year-old girl last October, British medium “Metro” reported, Periscope broadcasts.
In fact, the girl named Jessie was a pedophile hunter.
He told her he was bisexual and asked if he had any male friends who would be willing to meet him in a hotel. But when he arrived, he was arrested and admitted by a health professional that he was a pedophile.
He was released on the condition that the police could control his browser history at any time. This led police to find images of child abuse, including a child with a diaper and his plan to meet a 13-year-old boy at a Holiday Inn hotel.
Aldridge had contacted the boy through Skype and had shown him his genitals before they met him within minutes.
Aldridge, of the Bewick Court, Neucstle, was found guilty of trying to promote a child to engage in sexual activities and in encouraging a child to engage in sexual activities.
He also acknowledged there was a total of 687 inappropriate images of children in his household equipment.
He was imprisoned for three years, ordered to obey a command for sexual prevention, and to pay a surplus to the victim./Periscopi/
