Three patients in serious condition, the number of measles sufferers marks decline

The number of patients affected by measles disease has marked decline during yesterday.

QKUK Infective Clinic Director Dr. Hamdi Ramadani has announced that 16 people -- that small number compared to the past few days -- were present in 48 hours, writes Schneta newspaper.

Ramadani has announced that for the moment, lying in the clinic are 60 patients, but half of them are expected to be released at home by the end of the week.

We unfortunately have three patients in serious condition. Two of them are children aged 1 and 2 and the third is 37. The children are also sick of the tank, while the adult is a major tobacco consumer”, Ramadani has declared.

The children are from Fushe Kosova and Pristina, while 37-year-old comes from Vushtrria.

The measles disease in Kosovo has emerged since June, while so far in the Infective Clinic, over 150 patients have been treated.

Fruit also had fatal consequences, for two patients moved to the clinic. One of them was a child for 15 months.

Ramadani considers the measles disease will mark the drop further. He says this epidemic disappears within 4 to 6 months.
