The AKR candidate for Pristina chairman Selim Pacolli on Friday has unveiled his governing plan for the capital, while promising that the biggest projects, if elected mayor, would be implemented during the first governing mandate, while added that he would hand over the keys to a Pristina held after four years of governance.
He made this pledge to businessmen, who invited them to assess this plan and then to show citizens that such development is possible, while stressing that if he has their support, its implementation is certain.
He promised the construction of a “pa wall” cultural centre, the construction of the Pristina stadium, the underground parking lot for 6 thousand vehicles presenting fundamental solutions for overload in the capital, as well as the construction of a mosque in the centre of the city.
The construction of the university campus, according to Pacolli, is one of its major projects that will be implemented by the entrances of the underground parking lot, where, under the conditions and modern spaces that will provide for the students, the accommodation of 100,000 students will be included.
“In the upper part of Matt's neighbourhood, near the Palace of Justice, the university campus will be built àhasan Pristina, University built with the highest European standards , stretched out at 220 thousand square meters suitable for accepting as many as 100,000 students, with a space of two square meters for every student, equipped with all contemporary tools, for quality research, with the most modern inventory, equipped with the latest technology for legal prosecutions, laboratorys, IT labs and all the equipment of this modern university, the 14 million-euro project will be built without the eurozone budget....
For all these promises, Pacolli said they are the vision of those who love and believe in a bright future for Pristina, while he said that if elected mayor, at the end of his four-year mandate he would hand over the keys to a modern Pristina.
This is the vision of those who want and know how to build Pristina. It's not this vision of minds that don't see in broad dimensions. This is not the vision of those who have skeptical minds, or politicians who see no different than numerous words and empty projects. This is your vision of dear friends and you businessman, and you have to tell politicians that this is possible, is accessible and implemented. And of course this will be implemented within a four-year term. When we close the four-year term, I will be able to hand over the keys to Pristina's future. Then whoever is behind us has the frames and where it should develop and where Pristina<x1] should develop, he said.
According to him, citizens' plight is not solved without the impelsion of major projects. And for that, he said that with the conduct of the idea project, financial engineering, only the will of citizens is needed to determine their best future, voting for it as head of the Pristina municipality.
