Democratic League of Kosovo MP Vjosa Osmani has said Monday that with his involvement in the election campaign, President Hashim Thaci cannot save him PDK from the inevitable decline.

“The LDK has conveyed with extraordinary concern the involvement of the president of the Republic in the election campaign. His visits to Vushtrri and Cline, as well as public meetings with PDK candidates, clearly testify to the president's inability to exercise his constitutional role”, Osmani has said.

“Such an animation, proves two things; that the president of the Republic continues to be closely linked to party interests of the PDK; and that the PDK is in a deep electoral crisis.

She has said that in this panic and crisis, the PDK has mobilised all political resources it has, including the presidency.

“The LDK is convinced that the PDK crisis can neither stop the country's president, that the PDK's fall in these elections is inevitable. We invite the president to refrain from party animations, to exercise his constitutional role, and to allow a fair and democratic race in Kosovo despite political consistency that these elections will fall on his party”.
