In this municipality, the VV had won only 733 votes in the 2013 local elections.
And after counting all votes from elections held yesterday, Vetevendosje has managed to win 5,789 votes that result in eight times more votes than in 2013.
But, despite eight times the number of votes in Kamenica, the Visar Ymer party failed to win this municipality without a run-off.
With 33.33 per cent of the votes won, the VV candidate will go to the runoff. In the second round, Kastrati will be facing Shaipm Surdullin of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
Surdul won 5,003 votes, resulting in 28.81 per cent of the vote.
