Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Albena Resiti has hosted the American Chamber member companies in Kosovo today to discuss the possibilities of environmental co-operation and spatial planning.
Minister Resitij on this occasion presented the ministry's priority to lead, given the reduction of environmental pollution, proper waste management, river beds arrangement, water resources protection, etc.
The use of electric and hybrid cars, the construction of specific locations for the filling of these cars, promotion and opportunity of creating bank facilities for citizens buying such cars, taking off ecological taxes on these cars would be progress in implementing European requirements and in a green and friendly economy for the environment. Such environmental projects are easy to implement, only to open the way and have the common will for co-operation”, Resiti said.
During this meeting, representatives of participating businesses introduced their projects related to environmental policies from the use of electric and hybrid cars, investment in green areas, and similar projects.
The chairman of the American Chamber of Economics, Arian Zeka, expressed his and the willingness of business-members of this office to contribute to the creation of a cleaner environment.
Participants agreed on the realisation of joint projects that will affect the reduction of air pollution and environment in general.
