Political analysts say this approach of senior government officials is inconsistent because, as they say, ministers should focus on the problems of dictatorships leading them, rather than sharing their energy even at local levels.
Although many of them have occupied the position of ministers and deputies, they are aiming to reach the top of the municipalities, running for mayors in the October 22nd local elections.
There are even those who, although appointed ministers, are aiming to catch the asmblist seat in their respective municipalities, writes the newspaper Voice.
Praised Bytyci of Bajram Hasani are two of the ministers (from the Initiative) who are claiming to lead with municipalities. While Bytyci heads the Ministry of Education and at the same time is claiming to win Pristina, Hasani, being minister of trade and industry, is aiming to take over the Gjilan municipality. Despite their seeking the post of chairman, Health Minister Uran Ismaili is claiming to be elected asambliss in the Pristina municipality.
Besides, there are more than 10 deputies who are aiming to come to the helm of municipalities, even though in the June 11th elections, they had taken the trust of citizens.
While they say that they are doing it for the good of citizens, connoisseurs of political affairs consider all of these to be just their tricks to realize individual and party interests.
