An election rally in the village of Rahovica, the LDK candidate for chairman of Ferizaj, Muharrem Svarqa, where there were even persons under the age of 18, has cost his party 3,100 euros in fines.
The Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtres has found the complaint based on the complaint of BIRN and Internews Kosova, which claimed that on October 12th 2017, Ferizaj chairmanial candidate from LDK ranks Muharrem Svarqa violated the Election Rule 13/2013, including children at a rally held in the village of Ferizaj municipality's village of Rahovica.
LDK representatives before PZAP have argued that those seen in the photograph cannot be treated as minors, and that despite that they have removed photos from social networks to avoid any misunderstanding.
PZAP has not been convinced by LDK's reasoning and have pronounced the 3.100-euro fine against this subject.
BIRN and Internews Kosova have filed a total of 56 complaints about political parties' violations during the election campaign, while 26 of these decisions have been adopted, while the total amount of sentences is about 70 thousand euros.
