The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has condemned today's attack against Gazeta Online Isander's reporter and editor-in-chief, Vehbi Kajtazi.
“in a democratic country, media freedom and expression are guaranteed with the Constitutions, so such an action is punishable, unacceptable and should be treated as soon as possible by justice institutions”, the LDK's response said.
The LDK seeks from the institutions of justice that today's case against journalist Cajtazi, but also the latest attacks on this nature, be cleared and measures not to repeat in the future.
The Democratic League of Kosovo and its structures are fully devoted to contributing to ensuring media freedom, which is one of the basic pillars of democracy.
