LDK, AKR towards Co-operation for Run-off in Vushtrri

Ferit Idrizi from the PDK and the LDK's Xhafer Tahiri will once again seek a vote before the citizens of Vushtrri, as they will compete in the second round for the first of this municipality.

Already, before even the official campaign for the run-off, LDK candidate for mayor of Vushtrri Xhafer Tahiri has begun contacts with other subjects who failed to enter the runoff to co-operate in order to win the race against his candidate.

Tahiri, for possible co-operation, has met with AKR candidate Nasuf Aliun, where both have expressed willingness to co-operate in the second round of local elections. Ali himself confirmed this.

We have two meetings, but we still have no detail. We both have partial will. We have to put this matter in order on top of the day and make decisions, but we are expecting results from the CEC eventually where we are”, Aliu said.

While Aliu says they are interested in change, thus implying they will not co-operate with the PDK candidate.

“We are oriented for change, as most of the population is looking for, but soon we come up with concrete” decision, he stressed.

First party in Vushtrri out in elections held Sunday The PDK, with a total of 33.32 per cent, followed by the LDK with 25,78 per cent, Vetevendosje Movement with 24,97 per cent, AKR with 8.08 per cent.
