Las Vegas attack, bloodiest in U.S. history.

Sunday evening 64-year-old American Stephen Padddock opened fire on people in an open-air music festival from the 32nd floor of the hotel, which was on the other side of the road.

At least 59 people were killed in the attack, and more than 500 were injured.

Previously on various US cities such attacks had been carried out, but the attack carried out by Padddock is the bloodiest attack on modern US history, writes Anadolu Agency (AA).

December 14, 2012 Attack at Sandy Hook elementary school

The attack carried out at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown City, located 60 miles [100 km] from New York City, killed 26 people, 20 of whom were children. The 20-year-old American Adam Lance, before going to elementary school, had killed his mother at home.

July 20, 2012 The attack on Batman movie premiere

At the premiere of the film “Batman: The Dark Knight Reeses” in the city of Aurora, Colorado, the person who wanted to imitate the personalization of the film “joker” raided the cinema room and killed 12 people. The 24-year-old American James Holmes first threw gas bombs into the hall and then opened fire with automatic weapons. April 3, 2009- The Binghamton Attack

Thirteen people lost their lives, and four others were injured as a result of the attack by 41-year-old Asian-born Yiverly Wong, who opened gun fires accidentally at a refugee community center in the city of Binghamton in New York. The aggressor, who was formerly taught English at this center, took the teaching target and students in his old class. Wong was then suicide at the scene.

16 April 2007 Attack on Virginia Technical University

In the attack carried out at the campus of Virginia's Technical University 32 people lost their lives. The attacker's identity was 23-year-old Asian-born Seung-Hui Cho, who lived in a university dorm. Five hours after the attack, the aggressor committed suicide.

April 20, 1999, Massacre at Columbia High School

In the attack carried out at Columbia Middle School in Colorado's Littleton County, 13 people, one of them educators, lost their lives. Eighteen-year-old Eric Harris and 17-year-old Dylan Klebold, Amrian citizens who had targeted classmates had committed suicide in the school library.

October 16, 1991- “Luby's Caphetry Attack”

The attack on a coffee shop called Luby in the city of Killen, Texas, killed 23 people. Thirty-five-year-old American George Hennard broke into a coffee shop with a truck and opened a gun fire at random. The attacker then committed suicide at the scene.

August 20, 1986

As a result of gunfire by a mailman to his associates in Edmond, Oklahoma, 14 people were killed. American Patrick Henry Cheryl, with three guns next to him in 10 minutes, shot 20 people. The attacker had also shot himself and had lost his life.

July 18, 1984 The Massacre at K.M.Donald.

The 41-year-old American James Hwberty, who had entered a McDonald's restaurant in the city of San Ysidro, California, with a hunting gun and pistol, killed 21 people among whom were children. The striker several hours after the massacre was killed by the sniper when he tried to escape.

The 40-year-old American jailer in the city of Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania, first killed his five children and then shot the street and killed eight more people. The decision on the death penalty for Banks was abolished by the High Court in Pennsylvania in 2011.

August 1, 1966
Charles Joseph Whitman, a former U.S. soldier, in Texas first killed his mother and wife and then massacred 16 other people by firing gunfire from the tower located in Texas University in Austin City. Thirty people were injured in the attack. Two policemen who were climbing the tower executed the aggressor, Whitman.

September 5, 1949, The Camden Attack

World War II veteran 28-year-old American Howard Unruh, who lived in Camden City, New Jersey, as he was walking on the street opened fire occasionally for 12 minutes. In the attack, 13 people, three of them, lost their lives. Unruh's attack was recorded in history as “The marriage of death”. Unruh, after the attack, surrendered to the police. In the police question that “A you're a psychopath”, replied to “no, I'm in a pretty good condition”. It was then decided that he was not in good mental condition.
