Sejdiu said this result has come in line with the extent of the framework and the selection of frameworks that parties have made in municipalities where there is political activity.
The result of local elections in general, I believe, is what has been expected. It's not like I've made any preliminary calculations about many municipalities, but I believe the result on the entire section of municipalities has been expected and not so surprising.”, He said, adding that in local elections many national political party figures are limited to securing votes for the party in the specific municipality where they come from.
Commenting on the party, which in this year's local elections has mostly secured votes, receiving the first party's mayor in the country, the LDK, Sejdiu added that the LDK has shown satisfactory results in this election, but its true political power will be seen only after the runoffs are carried out in municipalities where it competes.
” According to preliminary data, it generally seems that the LDK has shown a satisfactory result, especially in the presence of the municipal assembly, even though it remains to be generally assessed after the runoffs are carried out in municipalities where the LDK is in the runoff for mayoral mayor because only then is its true political power seen at the local level. '% MP Sejdiu confirmed.
On the other hand, for the number of countries going to the runoff, he has said the results of these municipalities depend on many factors, including coalitions.
” It is hard to predict the results in the run-off because they depend on many factors, including possible coalitions among parties, but also the position that the electorate points to instructions the party structure gives them regarding the vote in the runoff.”, he said.
However, he does not believe that there will be great surprises even after the runoff.
In the end, speaking of the race in Pristina, Sejdiu said he was expected to have a run-off. He thinks both parties will mobilise hard to win this race.
For someone who is constantly on the ground and lives in Pristina, it has not been a surprising result. He's expected to be close, so as far as there's going to be a run-off or not. And it turned out that way. Only looks like there'll be a run-off. I cannot cut the result, but I know that both parties will be vigorously mobilized to the structure as well as the electorates in order to retain one governance and the other to restore it. Regardless of the outcome, I hope that whoever wins the race will form a majority coalition in the Municipal Assembly, because only in that way can you guarantee effective governance and implementation of specific projects.”, He said.
If that does not happen, according to him, it will continue with blockades in the Municipal Assembly and thus damage the city of Pristina. /
