Kim Jong Un: Little Fat Man in Swiss School

The Korean leader has been educated, under false name, in private and Swiss public institutions. Pass for basketball and electronic games. Nostalgia for the country. A mediocre student could express himself in Bern's dialect. Until, one day in 2001, it disappeared...

A heavy job, an investigation that has taken years.

Titus Plattner, journalist of the investigation cell of Swiss dailies “Sonntagszeitung” and “Le Mattin Dimanche” is a persistent man.

For years he was convinced that in one way or another, such persistent information, completely semi-official, wrapped in a thick layer of mystery could be confirmed.

International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), along with several colleagues, has managed to dismantle divisions, decrypt documents, provide reserved information to discover one of the secrets best preserved by the Korean regime: the presence of the then-wed teenager Kim Jong in Switzerland.

«duplication» tells us Plattner, «fell when in 2012 I secured the results of biometric analysis».

Compared to that, the three experts, including one French identifying missing children, the face of the leader of DPA, in a photograph of the Korean press agency of 2012, with that of a 16-year-old boy, registered under the name Pac Un, undead in June 1999 with classmates at Liebefeld-Stenhölzli public school, Canton of Bern.

A certainty that rests on the distance between the eyes, proportions of the skull, ear shapes, and especially teeth. Infectigraphy, made for high school autrons, had been hung in the school corridors but removed when it was published by “Mainichi Shimbun”, one of Japan's largest dailys after attracting television teams from around the world.

It presents a smiling boy with short hair, round face, high forehead, a shirt on which a gilded necklace shines. He's standing between friends, second row. The son Kim Jong, Alyas Pak Un, attends this school from August 1998 to January 2001. But his stay on Swiss territory began much earlier.

Investigation conducted by Plattner is based on documents that fell into Swiss federal archives, documents that never mention the boy's true identity, but on which his stay on Swiss soil can be partially rebuilt.

Everything in an environment hard story Classic, with intrigues, unresolved mysteries and perhaps even a remarkable victim: Kim Jong-nam, brother to mother of the current Korean dictator, killed in February 2017 at Kuala Lumpur Airport, attacked and poisoned with Vx, deadly nervous gas, by two females, one Vietnamese and the other Indonesians, who seem to have had close reports with the Korean Embassy in Malaysia.

Kim Jong-nam, the eldest son of Kim Jong-il, has lived and attended schools in Switzerland, just like Kim Jong.

Spy story showing us an attentive reading of Swiss archives and finding confirmation of information shown by Titus Plattner and several of his colleagues, especially from four former secret services agents in charge of surveillance of Korean citizens and diplomats, begins one Sunday in May 1998.

That day a couple of citizens from North Korea for years in Switzerland found accommodations with their three children at the American Embassy of the Federal Capital.

Two days later they cross the border with Germany aboard an American diplomatic vehicle and are smuggled into the US Air Force base of Ramstein, on Landin and Rin Palatati.

In demand for political asylum, Park Nam-Cheol, the driver in the North Korean Embassy in Bern, explains that his wife is actually not what she is called in ID papers, Chong Yong Hye, but Yongsuk.

In fact, it's Kunata (more precisely Ko Young-huy's sister, favorite of three lovers or, according to some sources, the last woman) of Kim Jong-il, the dictator of jinn.

In demand for residence permits, the two fugitives officially result in Chol's parents, Un and Mi-Hyang. But it's not the ones they took refuge with at the American Embassy.

Practically, Chol, Un and Mihyang have stayed in Switzerland. Because it's not really their children, but those of Kim Jong-il, the ruling autism.

That same year, in 1998, 14-year-old Kim Jong began attending Bern's University Public Genie School, abandoning the private school in which he enrolled 2 or maybe 4 years ago.

For years Ko Jong-suk deals with brother-in-law children, the leader of North Korea, especially both men, and particularly Pac Un (Kim Jong), destined to become the successor of «ron».

Very likely, the attitudes in Switzerland and the future dictator, born é evidently in January 1984, begin in 1994.

It's the year of the death of Kim Il-sung, the country's master father from his founding in 1948. His son Kim Jong-il decides to give his children a European education in the utmost secret.

12-year-old Kim Jong-in-law frequents International School of Bern, the institute filled with children of diplomats. Audios locked in the school board: Even after 20 years are neither confirmed nor rejected.

An armoured secret that even the most persistent journalists can't break.

But in the only interview given to his escape, Ko Jong-suk broke a 20-year silence to say in 2016 any particular “Washington Post”.

It's about life spent in Bern's safety, comfort, but not in luxury. A governor, a cook, a private teacher, Game Boy, and other children's electronic games, vacations at alpine skiing sites around Bern, trips to France, Euro Disney, and the Blue Coast.

But can be read in “Le Mattin Dimanche” on the basis of Swiss skeet service information, and holidays at the luxury resorts of Switzerland.

The future dictator's passion for model aircraft is explained.

Ko Jong-suk shows up to the nostalgic of impatient children to return to their country for summer holidays, where the future leader had created a basketball team along with friends: «was the shortest among his friends, and his mother had told him that if he played basketball, he would have extended».

A passion that has never left him: the guy who wore basketball sneakers and firms Michael Jordan, who wore the fanella with the number 23 of his idol, the star of Chicago Bulls, today preserves a special friendship with Dennis Rodman, dark enfant American basketball.

The house in Phenan was much larger than that of Bern: large rooms, movie halls, playgrounds, that is, everything to please Kim Jong.

That he didn't forget to complain to <x0hales» that he should obey only his true parents. His mother, as the counterspiration services papers state, came to meet the children regularly.

His father, Kim Jong-il, never, ever, ever since the plane trip.

Various journalists, among whom Allan Hall of “ ”, refer to how much they can learn from Kim Jong's former schoolmates.

A determined, strong character (to challenge his mother's orders used forms of protest, though brutal, such as some impossible hunger strikes), a mediocre school productivity, to eliminate mathematics where the report shows a positive assessment, various linguistic difficulties, even though after several years full involvement in the Swiss German Swiss reality was able to express itself with a kind of ease.

There are some who underline his passion for kung fu movies; there are some who stress that they have heard him state many times that he was not the ambassador's son, but the president's.

They called him the little «trashaw», happily reminded a former friend.

We understand from various evidence that the alleged Pak Un sometimes accompanied bodyguards and that when young people discussed political issues, Swiss democracy, the right to vote, freedom of speech, he kept silent, disturbed, lowered his eyes on the ground.

In 2001 Kim Jong suddenly leaves Switzerland without any warning from school and returns to gyan, where 10 years later he will take the reins of a dictatorship that holds a nuclear weapon.

In fact, as can be read in the “investigation Le Mattin Dimanche”, Swiss secret services were much more interested in other characters.

For one thing, Amvasadorin Ri Chél, one of the most powerful North Koreans who belonged to the narrow circle of many Kim Jong-il, whom some consider to be the real head of the entire spying device present in Europe.

Influent, very wealthy and at the centre of an investigation launched by the Swiss prosecution for dirty cash recycling at various Geneva and Zurich banks and for arms trafficking under a vast illegal network orchestrated at the European level by secret agent Pack Chang-ok who had chosen to live in the town of Fribourg, not far from Bern.

For years, Switzerland has been considered a neurosurgent centre of financial and Korean martial materials.
