The man is killed in the Osum River

The victim has been identified as N. A., 57, from the village of Molish, in Berat.

The victim's body has brought the water current close to the Gorica Bridge, where it is seen by passing citizens.

The inhabitants of the area who have seen the lifeless body have immediately notified the Berat police, who have arrived at the scene, where even PMF employees and forensic expert who have made it possible for the body to be removed from the river.

The 57-year-old is suspected of being killed alone.

The victim is said to have been denounced missing by the family two days ago.

No signs of violence or damage have been recorded by the body's preliminary examination. The lifeless body has been sent to the morgue of Berat's hospital for conducting forensic expertise.

Police have launched investigations and are working to whiteen the causes of drowning.
