Danish inventor Peter Madsen has admitted to cutting off members of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, but denies that he killed her.
Danish police said in a statement that Madsen has admitted to throwing her body into the sea. He told authorities that she had died in August of monoxide poisoning of oxygen when it was inside the submarine Madsen had invented.
Earlier this month, the pombars found a few bags with their heads, legs, and clothes. They were filled with metal parts to weigh more.
The journalist's body was found on August 21st. Medical examination revealed that there were wounds in the genital and ribs, thought to have been caused about or shortly after her death.
Kim Wall was last seen on the evening of August 10, when he was leaving with Peter Madsen to write an article about the submarine he built.
At first, Madsen said he had left the journalist in Copenhagen safely, but later changed the statement saying she died in an accident after she had hit her head on a hatch and he was dragged into the sea.
