The danger of strengthening Russian influence in the Balkans has awakened the West, and this is the setback of Western efforts to revive the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, says Bosko Yaksic, Serbian journalist and political commentator, with long experience reporting from conflict areas in the Middle East, writes Koha Ditore today.
In an interview given “Cohe Ditore”, after participating in the debate organised last week under the 2015 Forum by the Kosovo Open Society Foundation <x)> about the prospect of Brussels dialogue, Jaksic talks why it is still not real to expect Serbia to recognise Kosovo independence, as well as what, in fact, can produce the so-called domestic “ <x> ” about Kosovo, which was launched in Serbia by President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Jaksic agrees that dialogue needs to change the form, since it is now a process that is kept with “artificial breath machine”, but believes that the EU's attempt to change the form of negotiations will not suffice, because <x2 selection is in fundamental change of approach”.
