Robbers were seen passing through Castel di Guido, near Leonardo da Vinci Airport, walking near a three-way highway, reports “Daily Mail”, Periscopi broadcast.
Scientists have welcomed the remarkable return, given that the city's symbol is made up of Romulus and Remus, who absorb the likeness of a wolf.

Alessia De Laurences, a professor of natural science who is monitoring this rare phenomenon, told the Telegraph” “This is the first time in over 100 years that wolves have been found living near Rome”.
“We are very pleased that they have returned”, he added.

Murders of wolves were encouraged in 1970 in Italy, which reduced their numbers to only 100.
A year later these species were granted protected status, and their number is now estimated to be between 1,500 and 2,000.
The wolves are thought to survive by feeding on the flesh of wild pigs in the alps near a village in Paris./Periscopi/
