Former Interior Affairs Minister Saimir Tahiri is accused of two serious criminal acts.
The “Narcotics Trafficking”, conducted in co-operation, in the special form of the structured criminal group and “passive corruption of senior state officials and local elected”.
If we refer to the Penal Code and the concrete provisions for these criminal acts, Tahiri risks the maximum 32 years in prison, and the minimum assigned to the Code for These Works is 14 years in prison.

Tahiri has been placed at the centre of the attack already after his name has appeared in the Italian prosecutor's file for the group of Moses Habilaj, a distant relative to Saimir Tahiri, and who has been arrested in the neighbouring state as head of the drug trafficking gang.
