The first court hearing against those arrested in Italy is scheduled on October 31st.
The lawyers of the 8 arrested have filed complaints against the Catania Court's decision to arrest their clients.
The testimony of those arrested is expected with interest in Albania, as in their bugged conversations they have mentioned several times the former interior minister, Saimir Tahiri, who is under indictment and is being investigated in Albania for drug trafficking, participation in a structured criminal group and passive corruption of senior officials, reports Lapsy.al, broadcasts Kosovo.
Four of those arrested are Albanians:
Moses Habilaj, born in 1801,1978, resident of Vlora (global leader)
Fatmir Minaj, born 1504.1962, resident of the Modica municipality of Ragusa, Italy
Maridian Sulaj, born in 27,01,2016, resident of the Modica municipality of Ragusa, Italy
Nezar Seit, born 30.03.1977, resident of Vlora ( arrested in Albania)
